This thread isn't dedicated to the generic 12th Man, no this is a thread in appreciation of our very own 12thMan.

As most all of you know, 12th has been working the campaign trail on behalf of the Obama campaign for the past several months.

Props to him for his dedication and his tireless efforts as part of a brilliantly run campaign that culminated in the election of our next President.

My brother has volunteered on Presidential campaigns in the past and I know it can be a tiring, sometimes thankless job. So here's to you 12th

He was allready in that political machine that resides in Washington.

12th even though I did not support Obama I still think its great that you gave your time to support to what you believe. Most people only give lip service and never their time.

Excellent thread. Congrats 12th, I hope you feel at least partially responsible for Obama's victory, because it wouldn't have happened without a bunch of people who worked just as tirelessly as you did.

Totally serious about this. I'm sure you feel that being part of the process and the ultimate result was satisfactory in and of itself, but your efforts shouldn't go unnoticed.

And don't forget us when you're selected Secretary of South Lawn Easter Egg Roll :)

Thanks, man. In all honesty, being a part of this has been very humbling. I started volunteering almost two years ago, and recently joined the staff in North Carolina in September. The pay wasn't great, but it was worth a million dollars in experience. I had the privilege of traveling six different states and meeting tons of folks, big and small. And there were no two stories the same.

I can only hope Obama will be able to live up to the humongus expectations that he faces here in America and abroad.

As far as the Easter Egg Roll, I've suggested that we change that to pitching quarters...for you old school dudes.
