Cold and rainy in the DC area today. It will be interesting to see how the wet conditions affect play. I know it's usually tougher on defenses because a wet field makes backpedaling much more difficult...

Some of you may or may not care, but some wondering what would happen to Moss after hitting the Seatle player........

[B]NEW YORK (TICKER) —The NFL on Friday fined Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss for his open-handed slap to Seattle Seahawks cornerback Josh Wilson’s helmet during last Sunday’s game.

The league fined Moss $5,000 for his actions. The 29-year-old wideout drew a 15-yard penalty on the play.

Moss has 53 catches for 773 yards and five touchdowns for the Redskins (7-4), who will face the the New York Giants (10-1) on Sunday.

they just said when they take the tarp off the field Carter and Fletcher are going to test their injuries, but expect Fletcher to be in the starting lineup

[FONT=Times New Roman,times,serif][SIZE=3]One end zone is now exposed to the elements, and end Andre Carter is running on the sidelines with the trainers watching. Carter (foot) is hoping to play. Carter has all of his lower body pads on and just a T-shirt up top, and just headed back to the locker room.[/SIZE][/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman,times,serif][SIZE=3]London Fletcher is on the field, too, testing his foot injury. Fletcher is moving well, and seems to be okay while applying pressure to his foot. Fletcher is in sweatclothes, is running well in mobility drills and I'm still guessing he plays. [/SIZE][/FONT]
