Lions lose Charles Rogers, again

Per ESPN News, Lions WR Charles Rogers is out for the season

SmootSmack 09-13-2004 12:54 PM

that's really a shame, but on the other hand how about that catch by Roy Williams yesterday? That was sick

JWsleep 09-13-2004 12:56 PM

Tough loss for them. Yeah, Smoot that catch was crazy. Brought the whole brooklyn sportsbar to a halt for a second, which does not happen often!

lol, i ditched CR from my FF team immediately cause i had no idea who he was (he's O-ranked at #65, VERY high), auto draft wasted a high pick on him... luckily E kennison (KC #1 WR) was undrafted.

looks like rogers is injury prone, hes too thin, he needs to add some muscle. big blow for the organization

d151b 09-13-2004 01:20 PM

must be tough being a lions fan these days... they're on the right path though.

Big C 09-13-2004 01:26 PM

i think this could turn out to be a wasted pick.

That Guy 09-13-2004 01:40 PM

missing two seasons is a big blow to anyone... it'll be hard to come back and stay healthy after that.

jbcjr14 09-13-2004 01:54 PM

He will be labeled now with the injury bug.....DONE.

SmootSmack 09-13-2004 01:59 PM

He could be destined for a Westbrook-like career.

Back to Roy Williams for a second. What's up with he and the other top receivers picked (Fitzgerald, Reggie Wiliams) all wearing # 11?

Big C 09-13-2004 02:45 PM

hmm, that is kinda odd, even winslow was 11 until he changed to 80

jdlea 09-13-2004 04:11 PM

NFL WRs are now allowed to wear numbers from 10-19

That Guy 09-13-2004 05:26 PM

i thought it was just odd numbers 11-19...

d151b 09-13-2004 05:26 PM

i was wondering what the deal with the number 11 is too. someone needs to get a ruling on this...

Daseal 09-13-2004 06:21 PM

Charles Rogers could be a great receiver. I hope he can stay healthy after this. All the talent in the world, and from the interviews I've seen a hard-working classy guy.
