Anyone using this? Thoughts? I'm not sure I really "get it" yet.

Re: Google Buzz
well it's kind of like a "twitter" type thing, but a bit better threaded and collaborative it seems
better media and social network (sans facebook) integration as well |
Re: Google Buzz
btw there's a buzz feature on google maps app for most smartphones, you can actually see people buzzing around you, where exactly they buzzed from, etc if it's turned on
so you could eat at a restaurant, buzz about it there.. let people see where it is, add pics to it, etc all over google maps I'd highly recommend managing your contacts well |
Re: Google Buzz
sorry but people are way to into themselves these days

Re: Google Buzz
Apparently Google really stepped into it with this launch:

Re: Google Buzz
At first I thought it was meh and didn't really care for how they handled privacy, then I realized it has way less spam and images and crap than facebook and they addressed the privacy concerns. Two thumbs up.

Re: Google Buzz
Google has these concerns with nearly every newly released platform. It's cheaper and easier for them to say sorry and fix it a bit later, while rolling with the data that they collect from it originally. That being said, their products are great, if you're concerned with security/privacy, jump on a week or three later.
