Darrell Green has still got it
 

Darrell Green celebrated his fiftieth birthday Monday like only he can.

The Redskins Hall of Famer tweets that he ran a 4.43 forty in Orlando this morning to celebrate the milestone and humiliate prospects getting ready for next week's Scouting Combine.


Okay, he didn't say that last part. But we'd like to send out a hearty PFT happy birthday to Green, a memorable player for all of his 20 NFL seasons

I heard Mr. Green got a speeding tickett , he was running 45 in a 25 mph zone ... happy b-day Mr. Green #28 !!!

Get in touch with a member of the DC media that ever had any dealings with him when the camera was off, and they'll tell you. There have always been rumblings of this.

I met him briefly at a Bullets game while we passed in the concourse at the old Capital Center. It was just he and I in the councourse area and I stopped him, told him I was a fan and offered my hand, he shook my hand and thanked me. He seemed genuine and polite.

I don't have season tix, and never heard the behind the scenes stuff. Fair enough tho'.

Guy is still a rocket and was a great Redskin.
