A Sign of the Apocalypse?
For the first time since 1989, there is an NFL wide reciever who has 800 yards in receptions plus an average gain of over 20 yards per catch at the mid-season mark. Impressed?
The player with these numbers is the one and only Brandon Lloyd |

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
Glad he is not here still

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
^ While it would be nice to have him THIS year, I'm glad we didn't have him clogging our roster during the lame years it took him to get to his 2010 production.

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
Arizona and Carolina are playing in Week 15 of this season. If that game doesn't begin a black hole that engulfs the earth whole, I'm pretty sure we're safe from the supernatural for at least the next 30 years.

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
I thought the Apocalyptical sign was that Freddie "fur coat" Mitchell was bashing Mcnabb!!

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
Is his contract up for renewal this year.

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
Good job. Brandon Loyd and it would have been nice if this guy had been somewhat of a player here in Washington. Fact is he wasn't. I don't cry over spilled milk or not having him on our roster. :)

Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
Both his QB and Phillip Rivers have a chance of breaking Marino's record. Scary.
That said, Lloyd was a lazy bum here and that's why he stunk. He always had talent. |

This seems to always happen. We bring talent in and they stink it up. We dump guys off and they blow it up! |

It doesn't happen more often than it does |
Re: A Sign of the Apocalypse?
System, system, system. Yes, he's playing well but this his numbers should be taken with the same grain of salt Colt Brennan's were at Hawaii.
Orton could eclipse Marino's record this year, does anyone believe for a second that he's a great qb? |

True, but Desmond Howard is all I have to say. |

The player with these numbers is the one and only Brandon Lloyd
No. He is on a 2-6 Denver Broncos team that is dead last (32nd) in rushing yards in the entire NFL. The entire Denver team has 538 yards rushing. No coincidence, the 1-6 Dallas Cowboys are the second worst (31st) rushing team. Lloyd has only 4 TD's while Calvin Johnson has 8 TD's and Antonio Gates has 9 TD's. Lloyd might be taking the best looking girl to the dance, but CJ is taking her home and scoring. :cheeky-sm |
