The LA Vikings?
NFL.com news: Two L.A. groups have contacted Vikings, team official says
If the Viks don't get their NEW stadium approved (doesn't look promising) Could they actually move to Los Angeles? It sounds like a good chance and this isn't the first time the Vikings have been linked to LA. I guess the Vikings could move to the NFC West and the Rams could move North? |
Re: The LA Vikings?
I know L.A. has been wanting an NFL team back for awhile.
|
Re: The LA Vikings?
The Lakers did it!

Re: The LA Vikings?
I rather see Jacksonville, Minnesota has a history in the NFL and it would be sad for that city to lose it's team, same goes for Buffalo.

Yes I agree. the Jag fans don't even seem to care about their team. |

L.A. doesn't want a team, the league wants L.A. to have a team because it's a big TV market. They had two teams...did not go to the games, did not support them...lost them. They don't deserve a third chance. If anyone goes there...it will be the Jags. I don't believe Minnesota would allow the Vikings to leave. Sure, they're threatening now to get a new stadium like the Twins did...but I don't see it being allowed to happen. |

Or do they Jaguars see dramatic spike in attendance | ProFootballTalk |
Re: The LA Vikings?
LA is not a football town. They got too much better shit to care about, like the Lakers, than some lame-0 team like Buffalo or Jacksonville.

Re: The LA Vikings?
Alot of teams have attendance issues depending on their W-L record. Especially with a team like the Jags that doesn't have a long established tradition to fall back on.

Exactly why they should go to LA and not the Vikings. |

The problem for the Jags is the fact that they only have 1 "Star" player in MJD.. When they had Brunell and Company fans always showed up to their games. I would think the league would rather have Minnesota move to L.A, it's a "sexier" team in most eyes. |
Re: The LA Vikings?
Jacksonville isn't a NFL town really. They are a UF town and I was surprised in all honestly that the owners didnt demand that they pick Tebow....he is bigger than Jesus Christ down there!

Re: The LA Vikings?
What about the L.A. Redskins?? That sounds cool, huh? :)

No they are just too cheap to buy tickets to sit there and boo the players all game long. |
