Football was meant to be played in Rosie O'donnels bathroom.

Pfffffttttt...........
Thats 1970s mentality.
And who says it was "meant" to?
God?
Knute Rockne?
Why does the weather need to be a factor in the game?
It should all be nuetral ground, where the fans dont have to freeze their ass off.
Gimme a nice warm dome any day.

....and 1940's and 50's and 60's and80's and90's.......if the fans don't like where it is played at......then don't go but my vote is to leave it "Outdoors"!!!

P.S.

........... according to ND alumni ....
Knute Rockne and God are the same person.

I'm assuming this is sort of one of those option threads. Basically, please share your opinion on whether football is better when played inside or outside?

You have no valid opinions on how or where a game should be played. That star beside your name now represents an uncountable number of colossal blunders on a worldwide scale. It's like a big asterisk saying to the rest of us, stay away from this walking disaster, he will steal your money and leak on you.

Re: Football was meant to be played indoors?

Part of what makes Football, Football is the overcoming of variables. Weather being one of them.

Nascar is losing its fan base due to restrictions of what made Nascar, Nascar.
(Im not against safety, Im just stating a fact)
Just saying you can only change a sport so much before it loses it's foundation of what made it a success. The NFL is a hardcore league. That is part of its intrigue.

Making Football a indoor sport takes away part of what Football is or was. Just because the new generation accepts it doesn't change that. IMO.
