Oslo Attacks
What a tragedy. Norway's one of the last places you think something like this would happen. I've never heard of any unrest there

Re: Oslo Attacks
You're right, it's a stable political environment, fine economy, and with educated citizens. But crazy is equal opportunity, nutjobs exist in all colors, sizes, and locations.

Re: Oslo Attacks
The attacker was apparently part of a Nazi sect of some sort. Crazy to think people are still drinking that kool-aid.
He gunned down 85 people. That's insane. I've seen some seriously chilling photos of the aftermath on that island. |
If convicted on terrorism charges, he would face a maximum of 21 years in jail, police have said.
Can that be right? 92 killed and counting and the max is 21 years? Or does that apply merely to the charge of terrorism, and there are countless more for murder? |

It better be for that one law, because there's no way this nutjob deserves to be let out into society again for the rest of his life. The people of Norway have my sympathies, they were probably one of the few countries on this planet that have been able to sustain a semblance of peace for a long time, and this idiot ruined that in an hour and a half. |
