anyone else working today?
 

I can't believe I'm working today. Everyone I know is off.

Normally we get every holiday off and even some of the ones that not everyone has like MLK. We do get out at 3 today so I can't complain too much, but still, it stinks working when everyone you know is off!

I contemplated working today, but opted not to. I need the cash since I'm in law school, but I'd prefer to talk to people here at thewarpath.net and catch up on my ESPN Insider reading.

I'm an insurance adjuster, I swear we're the only insurance company in the area that's open today. Kinda odd because we get so many holidays off but not today. :(

Yup... ESPN gave us Monday off instead of today.

My work gave us the whole week off!

I'd rather have worked new years eve since we closed at 6 instead of opening the next morning.

Kinda odd because we get so many holidays off but not today. :([/QUOTE] my neighbor had an adjuster at his house just the other day....a ton of smoke damage to the house caused by a small fire in the laundry closet. i could swear my neighbor started the fire on purpose (not really)....they're actually going to come out of this better of than before the fire thanks to there insurance.
