what is the purpose of this feature? if we want to read the first post of a thread, we will click on the first page of that thread. if we want to read the last post of the thread, we should be able to do so with one click. please help me understand. thank you

if you want to copy a link to a specific post to paste somewhere (either here or elsewhere), that's what the permalink is for... static linking, not "go to page 2" - the default is 20 posts per page, but i have mine set to 40, so if you try to link me to post 21 on your screen, i'd be going to 41 on mine or whatnot.

if you don't need it, don't worry about it ;)

i believe i misnamed my beast. what i was referring to were threads like: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search, Super Happy Fun Thread!, Peyton Manning or RGIII your choice, etc.

when i click on "last post" it takes me to the first post. what's the deal?

Threads that get to a certain size like Super Happy Fun or Movie thread once they reach that too big size the last post button doesn't work anymore. Matty has addressed it before and said he has no idea why it is like that.

that's bad news, i'm a moderator on another forum with monstrous threads. it doesn't happen.

one thread has 1116 pages, 27877 posts, 106675 views - no sweat

if you pay the page creator, he'd be happy to fix it for you

Just click "last page" and scroll down. There really are worst things in life.

It's got something to do with vbseo, I've tried a few fixes. If anyone can find a fix that works be my guest.

i just clicked last post and it worked! it was pics for sharing thread, it took me straight to post #1895. did you tweak something, matty?

*reading my stupid posts above, revisiting that subject after really growing fond of this place, i'm going to ask him if he'll take a peek.
