Take the money and run for office! (expose on lobbying/campaign finance)

This is by far one of the best pieces about lobbying/campaign financing I've heard. Why you ask? Because it doesn't involved slanted or biased opinions, you hear it directly from the horses mouth so to speak. The interview with the Senators, Congressmen, and lobbyist themselves as you find out what your politicians are really doing in Congress and what that money is actually buying you. You'll hear from McCain and his attempts at curtail the campaign financing from corporations.

This is a hour long podcast that I suggest each one of you to listen to. You'll hear from Democrats and Republicans alike on the state of campaign finance and lobbying.

Meanwhile, the parrot heads are continuing to chirp about the donkeys and elephants while their country is slowly being bought and paid for by corporate America.

Do yourself a favor, whether it's in the car on the way home or you listen to it in 15 min segments, just listen. You'll be amazed at what you learn about how much time is spent raising money, and surprised to find out that many of the politicians actually solicit lobbyists for money.
