Championship Football Photo 1937
 

I have a copy of this image but this looks to be a real one.

Background: In 1937 the Washington Herold Times honored the Redskins Championship win by putting a team signed photo in every newspaper one day.

If it's real like I think it is it will go for far more than the $61 it is sitting at now.

You can see in my collection I have a copy of that same image but mine is grayish and not brownish like a real photo would be.

Sammy Baugh Fan,

I believe your right on this one. Judging from the signatures of some of the know players it looks to be real.. It would definetely be a nice piece for any skins collection.

I agree and so do others as it's now at about $350.00

Like I said I may know where another one of these is at but without the extra writing. I'll see if I can get them to let me check and maybe make a trade of some type to get it. They are Skins fans but might take a trade for a replica of that along with a couple signed Sammy Baugh photos.

An original would be sweet to have.

Well I dont believe the price has any indication that its real. look what was paid for the 1944 team picture. I would not have gone anywhere near that price. I'm not an expert or anything like it, but having as many auto's as i do I feel pretty confident in my judgement as to whether its real. If you look at sammy's signature on the 44 its knowhere near the same as on the 37 picture. takes a little research thats all.
