They said he had congestive heart failure, which was genetic. He had also suffered pneumonia last month, and they detected a mass on his liver. He was going to cancel the fight against James Thompson a few weeks back if he did not get better. He found out only days before his death that he needed a heart transplant, it obviously would have been career-ending. Looking back on his Bellator fight against Dada 5000, while it seemed he was out of shape and gassed so easily, it is obvious in hindsight that his heart was failing. How he passed his fight physicals and stuff i'll never know. Makes me think Bellator is shady.... |

Good to know that Colin Kaepernick is picking up the slack. As Kaep said this past week, his fight is very similar to Ali's.
