IMO, either playing long or Sullivan (once up to speed) is an update over the badly regressed Lichtensteiger . . . its sucks he got hurt, but i'm happy to see him replaced at least for the rest of the year.

I like this, assuming his back holds up. Definitely knows how to play the position. Hopefully, he doesn't need to see the field this year.

Still wondering if Arie gets the call this week to start at LG & keep Long at Center.

I think that would make us more physical up front.

Im hoping after tomorrow's practice we can get a clearer picture on what our starting Oline will look like for this weeks game. Im on the

Long is the incumbent till Sullivan gets up to speed. Vinston Painter was also promoted from the PS.

Really good news, let's see how improved our O-line will be, but we couldn't stay with just Long at center anyway

Seems like this was just an excuse to try and get Lich outta there. They've been obviously trying to replace him.

Nsekhe imo needs to be on the field. I'd throw him out there at LT form series or two and drop Siverback at LG and see what happens. Or put Nsekhe at LG and put Long at center.

NY can't play G .

Looks like they brought up Painter. So I wouldn't be surprised if Lav goes on IR soon

Nsekhe is one of the 5 best lineman on the team easily.

Do we want better players on the field or worse players on the field?

What we want is our best OL at LT. So start with TW in that spot. Sullivan hasn't been here long enough to start at C, so expect Long to start there. The same folks will start on the right side. That leaves only the LG spot and Arie K. as the logical starter.

What we want is to win. Not to follow some old outdated belief.
Arie K. is not proven to be ready to start in the NFL, he is another Lichtensteiner. The offensive line that finished the game against the 1st place team deserves another look see.
There was a time Joe Jacoby played guard and it was amazing.
If it works who cares if it does not seem right. I would rather be wrong and win then lose playing our best at LT and our RG sucks.
Just win.

You think Nsekhe is better at LT than Trent? The most important position protecting the QB. Kouandijio has a nasty streak that I've been waiting to see and he knows this is his opportunity to shine. I have faith Callahan will have him ready to rock.
