Sad, he was having a great camp. Who replaces him Francis, Mbu, Ioannidis, other? Who else is having a great camp at NT?

Doesn't matter as Phil was our second best guy. Hopefully somebody steps it up. We really need to hammer the defensive line in the next two drafts, at least draft a linemen in the mid rounds. There has to be some nuggets in there somewhere.

Sucks for Taylor he was shaping up to be a great comeback story.

Mbu made some plays on Sunday. Ioannidis is said to be having a solid preseason.

Reading about McGee taking over. Apparently he's our next big, fat boy in line...

He's been quiet for signing a big contract with us. If you look at DL signings this offseason, he like in the top 5 when it comes to total value. He needs to be playing like it.

I think I said "who the f*ck is Stacy McGee?" after we signed him

Has anybody even heard his named called this preseason?

Been trying to watch him, but reading he's stepped up a LOT more.

Does anyone know what the injury actually was? Is it possible that this is the short term IR? The play looked like it might be a bad bruise, although I assume that there must have been some sort of tear or something. But there's no information out there. Poor guy --- his was turning into a really nice comeback story.

Will be interesting to see how they adjust.

The second one, not getting out of bound in time, was sloppy as F.

Awful. Torn tendon for a big guy like that does not equal short term IR. He must be crushed after working so hard to come back.

good stuff here. IMO, best case scenario would be to move Niles Paul to SF with someone Tomsula has worked with at Nose. Im fairly certain Kyle Shanny was a big Paul fan.
