Around the NFL Week 4

For the love of god, how in the hell did Glennon get 45 million? And why would you turnaround and draft Trubisky second overall?

To me trading up for Trubisky after paying Glennon tells me somebody wasn't satisfied. Not sure who it is but someone in the Bears FO disagreed with whoever brought in Glennon.

Glennon's deal is really for one year. They might as well put in the rookie.

The Bears are a horrible mess. Pitt will look back on that loss as one of their worst of this season.

They should have saved their money and put it towards a TE, WR, or pass rusher.

Bears are bad either way, they have 2 guys on offense and both are RBs

Just start Trubisky already, Glennon is terrible

So that hit last night...whoa. Crown down right in Adams face.

I think you have to suspend Trevathen a couple games. Dude was out cold.

That was tough to watch

I really hope goodell addresses this today and not waffle around. That hit deserves a suspension and he needs to put the hammer down now.

I would like to hear what JR thinks about it from a legal view? Yes I think the Police had a legit reason to detain him.

I don't, maybe I am wrong but in order to detain someone don't you need reasonable articulate suspicion that they have commited, about to commit, or are in the process of commiting a crime?

Yeah but I kinda see the cops point, when they are just arriving on scene, everything is mass chaos and people are bailing left and right, it makes sense to tell everyone to hit the deck so you can sort it out one by one later. If one guy ignores the command while everyone else complies, of course you're gonna keep that guy on scene until he can be cleared later. But they don't have time to clear him while the shooter might still be on the scene, so he gets detained until later.

Sucks for Bennett because he was obviously freaked out, but you ignore police commands in an already chaotic situation where they are trying to sort it out, well that's what happens. As soon as they confirmed he was clear they released him. Did the one cop have to put his gun to his head? Maybe not, but again, active shooter. Of course they're going in guns ready. I think detaining the crowd at an active shooter situation is standard protocol anywhere, you have to clear them to make sure the gunman/men doesn't try to sneak out.

Yeah the Michael Bennett situation always seemed like it wasn't police brutality or profiling... he wanted to help the cause but may have hurt it.
