Re: Weather Thread !
We got 5 inches as of now. Normally I'd be more excited but I have to be at work at 3:30 tomorrow morning in case any plow trucks need emergency repairs.

Re: Weather Thread !
Yup Charles County now gettin some rain and a little sleet. Roads aren't bad . I just finish shoveling the driveway and de- snowing two SUV's and a car .We have a raised deck so I have to shovel that all so. It's a wet snow so it's heavy and will all refreeze tonight. We have between 6/8 inches right now.

Weather Thread !
Was going to start a weather thread but found this dusty jewel in the parking lot. Winds are whipping right now at the jersey shore and it’s raining heavy. I will be on storm duty/ OT for the foreseeable future since i work for the power company. Money is good but there is something torturous about sitting in a vehicle that isn’t moving for the better part of 16 hours….
Stay safe during these storms if you are in them. Stay off the roads! Five year bump ! |

We had some good rain and some very solid winds for 2 or 3 hours, made the power flicker off a couple times, but it's basically all gone now. Anyone north of Nashville is braver than me. |
Re: Weather Thread !
Im praying I don’t lose power. It is up to about 75,000 outages statewide.

Re: Weather Thread !
We got out at work 2 hours early becuase of Rain and wind! Never happen before ,snow yes but not rain. I'm with you as long as my power stays I'm good I have a sump pump and if the power goes I'm screwed.

There are some sea level areas where you are. With the amount of rain and high tide being 5 feet above normal I think they were concerned for the coastal communities. |

Possibly, Hanahan does seem to be pretty protected being inland. And I work from home, so I don't get to see the damage up close. |
