1. Trump returns to office as 47th President
2. Trump's Immigration/Deportation Policies
3. Trump's Tariffs
4. Trump deploying troops to American cities
5. Longest government shutdown
6. An American is named Pope
7. Charlie Kirk assassination

Obviously, Trump had a huge impact on 2025.

[U][B]My 2026 Predictions[/B][/U]:

1. As tariffs have their full impact, economy gets worse.
2. Trump passes due to a medical event, on his 80th Birthday: 6/14/26.
3. Vance becomes 48th President when assumes presidency after Trump's passing.
4. Vance gets to pick a Supreme Court Justice as Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito retires.
5. The 2026 elections sees the Dems just barely winning the house with a 5 to 10 seat majority. The big win doesn't occur. Progressive upset with the same old dull democrats ; go third party or independent and this time around some of them win the 3 way races. These insurgents don't align with either party but do become a thorn in Dems side in next congress. The Gop barely retains Senate; losing 2 seats to retain a 51-49 majority.

I’m adding a 6th 2026 prediction.

Donald will remove as Federal holidays; MLK Day, President’s Day and Juneteenth and replace them with his birthday as a federal holiday.

My hopes (not going to try to predict this insane world)

russia collapses
trump collapses
vance impeached
republicans return to reagan conservatism
us moves to a more empathetic level socially and a more solid base fiscally
mike johnson resigns
ice is just frozen water
the kennedy center returns to the kennedy center
europe takes responsibility for it's defense
washington wins the stanley cup, nba championship, world series, and the lombardi trophy
i am able to share my winnings from the first 2billion dollar powerball drawing with all you long suffering skins fans here
every school posts "the new colossus" in place of the 10 commandments

Federal holidays are set by Congress, which must pass a law for a new holiday.
