W5: Giants , the Code Red Prediction Thread

The Giants is the Code Red game.

Season on the line.

I predict we lose, even if Jayden plays.

Giants 18
Comms 17

I watched the Commanders game I think you guys are a decent team. If your QB can stay healthy you guys can play with anyone. I like what JH has done with the Giants but I'm not blind we got lucky two weeks in a row. I like Winston too, yeah you have to take the good with the bad and just hope there is more good. IMPO JJ was a mistake I just don't see him turning around . No matter what it's game 5 of 17, it's a long season.

Jayden Daniels projected to start:

Now that we are 1-3, and Giants are 3-1 think we could get a more fairly officiated game. Not optimistic about that but could see it happen. Have no clue what happens Sunday at this point.

We'll either get screwed or find a way to blow it.

Sadly I have little hope left right now.

I have a weird feeling this is going to be a game, one we may even win. Call me crazy, but JD5 and Quinn are literally fighting for their careers all of a sudden and won't get down without a fight. Giants also have injuries too with Dart and Burns. Whatever happens will be happy to see Jayden back.

In recent years, I feel like we actually play better against the teams we're not supposed to beat (we have nothing to lose and play looser maybe) and then play poorly against more even (or in the rare circumstance, lesser) competition. It's a little harder to tell this year given the rash of injuries, but it seems to be the case.

We're also at home so maybe the refs won't screw us as much. Lofty thinking I know. Seriously though, Winston loves to air it out. Dude is fearless and will put up yards and picks. Sure hope JD5 is okay if he plays. Sure seems like a quick return although thrilled to see it.

the outcome !!

Well at least if we lose, we lose to one of my favorite football players of all times (Jameis).

Seriously our injury report is hysterical. Do we need to fire someone? Do we have the biggest collection of pussy’s in the universe?

The injury thing could possibly come from modern day NFL. These guys barely hit in camp. None of the starters play pre season. Then week one is here and now you're expected to play a full 60 minute game? You are going to get guys hurt those first few weeks.

Instead of being obsessed with not getting guys hurt in camp/ pre season, let them play some. Let their bodies get use to being hit and hitting/tackling.

Agreed, but that doesn't obviate injuries generally, only contact generally. Hamstrings, sprains, muscle tears etc. would speak more to conditioning than contact. If players are doing stretching, weights and aerobic exercises properly why are those injuries appearing to occur so frequently. And with our guys. Medical/training staff not good enough? Off season regimens poor?
