T.O. asked to leave camp.
I know this isn't Redskins news, but I just take too much enjoyment in all of this T.O. saga not to share with the rest of you.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2130735 Believe me when I say that the only thing better than reading this espn.com blurb is listening to the fans calling in on the local sports radio station right now absolutely ripping T.O........hoping the Eagles get rid of him......and praying that their next opponent breaks his legs. I just love turmoil in Eagles land.:laughing2 And some of you thought OUR WR situation was bad?! How'd you like to have the Eagles' problems at WR right now?:FIREdevil |
Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
I just heard this as well! Great news for Redskins fans! I just can't see the Eagles keeping this guy. He's starting to be too much of a distraction already. I figure he goes on the trading block soon!
Funny hadn't Carolina picked up 50/50 Rod Gardner, I wonder would they had gone for TO? |
Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Maybe they can trade Gardner for T.O.? LOL!!!
After all, the Eagles wanted to draft him that year when we took him......they got stuck with Freddie Mitchell.....and the rest is history. |
Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
I hear a lot of people who say they would take TO over Moss. I can't remember Moss, (Randy not Santana:) being such a distraction during training camp.

Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Talk about laughing his ass off, Freddie Mitchell has to be enjoying all of this!!!

Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Ohhhh I love this!! TO has loooonngggg been on my list of "People who I will always have no respect for". Yes, he is incredibly talented. Yes, he made an amazing personal effort to play in the Super Bowl. For all that, he acts like a two year old (actually, my two year old shows more respect towards others than Owens). Owens shows no respect for the game, his opponents, or his teammates. If it ain't about him, all about him and nothing but him - then it is a personal slight to his magnificense.
Whether they cut him, pull a Keyshawn (keep him on the roster then inactivate him throughout the year), or trade him - it's all good to me. Even if the Eagles keep him (which they probably will do), no way he duplicates his numbers from last year simply b/c McNabb will find a new target. Philly w/out Owens, Pinkston and Mitchell. Hell, even Ade could cover what they got left. |
Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Well all had that debate...and the most of us agreed he wanted too much money and his atitude would not fit in with our team. I think his antics and temper tantrums and the ME atitude would have brought our team down and I think Coach Fox would have thought that too:)

Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
I tell you what will be interesting to see....Reid basically showed Mitchell the door after he made too many inappropriate comments or whatever. At what point does he does this with TO....is this the final straw or do they show favoritism because of his big name and big money (excuse me T.O.) contract???
|
Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Reid might want to...but I bet the higher ups won't let him because of the Big name etc.

Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
Has this ever happened before? I mean ever?? I cannot think of one incident where a star player has been asked to leave TC. This is f*cking amazing. The call-ins on WEEI the Fan in Philly are borderline hysterical...you'd think this guy committed murder. I would love to know what caused Reid and him to start fighting??

Re: T.O. asked to leave camp.
From what I'm reading, TO wasent asked to leave, he just left. Can anyone confirm or deny this??
Either way, great news for us Redskins fans and T.O. haters. |

If so, the Panthers would have my respect. I'll cheer for any team that slams the door in this guy's face after all the crap he's pulled. |

Could be related to the fact TO has missed five out of six practices. Yesterday he practiced on a seperate field with an assistant trainer. Caught balls on his own from a machine, didn't mingle with fans, teamates or media. Who knows?? |

Seriously.......can you imagine? I really doubt they'll go without T.O......but if they did they'd have one of the easiest offenses in the league to defend. Heck, Westbrook isn't even happy. I just love this.:D |
