Clayton's assesment of our team mangement
Clayton is extremely honest in his assesment of our team management issues. Its been posted multiple times but the cap hit we took cutting coles was painful. I think Daniel Snyder is a fan, he's aggressive and he has failed like other owners with big money. I know this article is posted in the news section...

Re: Clayton's assesmant of our team mangement
yeah it's a good, clear sum up of all our problems. we have to do well this season just to make sure we keep the system in place and get stability.

[/QUOTE] We didn't Cut Coles though, we traded Coles for Moss. I agree, it was very very costly for us, financially! However, we pretty much didn't have a choice. It's counter-productive to have a player on your team, especially someone at wide receiver, who doesn't want to play for you. Dan Snyder will probably never be popular with the media or maybe the majority of Redskins fans. However, I think he has came a long way from how he was in the 2000 season. But, we can't blame the Coles situation on Snyder... |

Re: Clayton's assesment of our team mangement
I would like to less the tunover to freagentcy ratio of players on our team. we need stability and guys need to get used to each other. Can a guy start out as a skin and finish as skin anymore

Good Point! We should develop players, and honestly assess them year to year by performance ...without hastily getting some bloated star off the free agent market. This is how we would avoid cap issues, and add players that will improve the team. |
