How To Beat Philly or how Washington wins the NFC east

I watched the Dallas game and watched the tape a few times after - and read a few notably football experts reviews - and figured out how Dallas embarassed the Beagles.

1. Get an early Lead!!

This means that the pass happy egrets will abandon the run and become quite predictable.

2. Get exotic on Defense!

Dallas had CB Terrance Newman on the LOS (in what appeared to be a THREE POINT STANCE!!) at one point. They weren't going to run so.....

3. Get your hard hitting safety up on the line.

Dallas went 4-2-5 to open the game and had Roy Williams up on the Line like a linebacker. I think you guys have a hard hitting safety who can stuff the run and cover Westbrook coming out of the backfield. Some guy from Miami. Taylor? or something like that?? Once again, they don't run much so......

4. Air that Ball out!!

Brunell Biters shut up. What he is doing is what happens when you give a PROVEN vet the controls and leave him in there. Let Brunell put that ball up and the Eagle DB's look very vulnerable out there.

See you in December!!

My guess would be that some people think all we need to do is put Arrington in and all problems will be solved. What problems? Who knows, but they will be solved.

I'd actually like to see a Cowboys and Redskins NFC Championship matchup. Bring back the rivalry.

Yep....you're correct 5RINGS! As one deminisional as Philly has become on offense (yes a big part is Westbrook, but they don't seem to care,) you'd think eventually a team is going to hit 'em right in the mouth! The funny thing is, I really think if Andy Reid balanced his offense a little more (Lord knows he has the players to do so,) the Eagles would probably still be deadly. I just don't understand why Reid is passing it, at almost a 3-1 ratio to running, knowing his starting QB is injured?

5rings, i think that's a great analysis. You've become a unique member of the warpath, and we respect your opinions. you've also said that you've grown on the redskins, and that's why i think it's time for you to get a redskins makeover. Change that avatar to a redskins one, and maybe a mod will hook you up with a name change with something more fitting. we'll respect you even more.

I would not respect 5rings if he changed I mean would any of us change to Dallas I hope not. I hate Dallas but I respect them but would never turn. ANy man who can change his team is not one I would trust respect or even want to know. He seems to love the sport and respect our team and I would hate to see him turn on his I dont see him as that type at least I hope not cause I have alot of respect for him. How many of us would right anything positive on a dallas chat board. I wouldn't so 5rings let me say you are a bigger man than me. But according to my woman most are bigger men than me.

matt i understand what you are saying and in all but one circumstance would i agree with you, and that is this one. Yes steeler fans should stay steeler fans and 49er fans should stay 49er fans, redsox fans should stay redsox fans and wizard fans should stay wizard fans, Calgary Flames fans should stay Calgary Flame fans, pirate fans should stay pirate fans, Wolverine fans should stay Wolverine fans, Bouncers fans should stay bouncers fans, Triple H's fans should stay Triple H's fans, DC united fans should stay DC united fans, Takeru Kobayashi's fans should stay Takeru Kobayashi's fans, Greg Raymer fans should stay Greg Raymer fans, Manchester fans should stay Manchester fans, and all of this is Great.

But how as a human being can you subject someone to a lifetime of liking the cowpukes due to one mistake, the mistake of choosing the cowpukes as a farvorite team when they were young and ignorant. I pitty all cowboy fans and I hope to save them, I hope to bring them to the good side.

Thanks for the kind words, but I agree with Matt, you gotta stay with your team through thick and thin. I am a Big NFC East Fan. I hate the AFC, despise the Patriots, won't talk to Packers fans, and I want to choke any 49er fan that I see. I got love for the Skins when they aren't playing Dallas, and when I don't have to look at the owner, and you hire a coach who isn't a Glorified SEC good ol' boy. I like to see the Division do well so it's like in the eighties and nineties when the NFC East won a Ton of Super Bowls and that competition made each team better.
