Winfield's play hasn't declined. He'd be a good pickup on a short term contract. Unlike Hall, Winfield will actually tackle people.
Hall at FS would drive me crazy. I couldn't stand watching him, as our last line of defense, getting run over or avoiding tackling altogether. He plays football like a matador and I hate that.
You're right about one thing: CB should be a high draft pick. We should also sign one more vet on a short term deal.
