I think a few things that preseason has shown is:
1. We are goin to keep 4 TE's, though it would be sad to cut talent b/c lack of Safety depth.
2. MHurt is hurt but I hope he can return by start of season or cut LeRibeus when he does return.
3. Baker is playing DE and filling in nicely for Jenkins
4. Carriker simply needs to be put on IR. the team is moving on and he needs a year off b/c he is simply a weight room athlete, too brittle to compete.
5. Backup center Matthews has greatly disappointed. I thought he could/ would be more but not so and Kory is now the backup center.
6. I fear the biggest gamble or possible blessing is to keep 1 NT in Coffield, cut Nield, and have Baker w/ Golston starting to play DE until Jenkins returns. Baker gives us flexibility and offers another tight decision to keep a 5th safety which is a growing concern.
IMO.

**d'oh, my theory is broken b/c of suspended players Jenkins/Jackson. I guess that's a good thing as it gives some roster options.
