I think we might as well go with status-quo, I think it probably ends up hurting his confidence even more by sitting him than him being out there and losing - and lets face it - the dude can definitely use the practice. What starting NFL QB doesn't know how to slide properly coming off a season where it got him a concussion? It's just unbelievable that he would make that mistake, that's not even something you can attribute to rust, it's just a incredibly stupid play fueled by what I can only believe is nervousness.
