I'm as disappointed as any of you but talking about 0-16, trading Orakpo, firing a Shanahan, etc. While my expectation of 11-5 or anything close seems to be a pipe dream right now I don't think this overall team is historically bad as some are suggesting. The defense, well maybe.

Not trying to pull positives from a loss to a team that's won 6 of their past 19 games but aside from the 2 completely avoidable, yet crushing turnovers by RG3 this was his best game by far and resembled 2012 RG3 at some points.

The throw that Robinson dropped (yes dropped, no excuses, catch it cleanly there's no need to replay it-leave it out of the refs decision) was perfect. He was making throws all day that were on the money and giving his WR a chance to get some YAC. His pre-fumble scramble is what scared the hell out of defenses pre-ACL. Eliminate his mistakes and we'd all be saying 'HE'S BACK!' this morning.

Kyle needs an ass whupping. 50-15 pass/run balance is stupid. No screens called to Morris or Helu. Too many WR screens on 3rd and medium. No stretch runs and an infatuation with the toss/pitch. One of his worst games as a playcaller IMO.

Our tackling is abysmal. Where has Stephen Bowen been? Fletcher has lost 3 steps. Amerson is playing like a rookie and the big play vs. Burleson was killer but this was his best game by far. Haslett needs to get out of the booth before he's out of a job.

Finally special teams have been weak and the penalties are all on MS. Can't allow them.. In a 7 point loss, can't give the offense 20 free yards and an additional 1st down in scoring territory.
He didn't play as bad as everyone is saying. But his turnovers killed the team, as did numerous other things. Hopefully he can build on the positives yesterday. However, because of the heavy price that was paid to get him, we need him to be a great QB. Not one that makes stupid Int's in the red zone, or one that makes a great throw, then a bad one. W/out the threat to run, I'm just not sure he'll ever be a great QB.
