The rules pretty much prevent us from keeping the ball away from Peyton Manning. No matter how well the Redskins can sustain their drives, they still have to kick the ball back to Manning at the conclusion of the drive.
But with that in mind, I'd put in at least one surprise onside kick play to try and steal a possession (as well as not having to cover a kick) from Denver.
What would absolutely kill us is if Shanahan pusses out and kicks a field goal in a fourth and short situation. That would be the very definition of beating oneself.
