He definitely showed signs of improvement last season, particularly fighting though the foot injury.
This year? He's who he's always been. If you feel he's improved and he's playing like this, I don't know what you attribute that to. When you rattle off seven wins in a row, you need some guys to play a bit over their true talent level. That's what Garcon did for us last year.
It's not that he's not trying as hard this year or that he doesn't care, it's just that every issue he's put on tape this year (rounding off routes, dropping passes, failing to create space consistently) are issues he's shown quite often in the past.
If you really want to quibble that he's actually the 28th best receiver in football because he's a great blocker too and so I'm wrong to say he's not top 30...go ahead, I'm not going to argue if he's top 25 or top 30 or top 40. That doesn't matter. He wouldn't be in my top 30.
