How long was Dick Vermiel out before returning and leading the Rams to a Super Bowl with a grocery bagger as his QB? 15 years? I want a teacher and a leader of men running the show. The jury is still out whether the Shanahans have been solid teachers relative to developing Griffin. Viewing from the outside, it would appear that an offense was modified to Griffin's unique skills, perhaps at the expense of progressing Griffin in the passing game. I want to see far more WCO concepts, where the ball is out of the QB's hand on rhythm, instead of being so dependent on play action passing behind our train-wreck of a pass protection O-line.
