I don't want them to hire Briles, partly because I don't know how he's going to adapt to the overall NFL environment vs. his current 'cushy' spot and also because of the perception issues that will overshadow everything.
However IF it happens, then they better win quickly and win big otherwise it will be another mess. The only way I'd be comfortable with Briles is if he's got a really strong staff with at least one high level assistant with former NFL head coaching experience that won't be a distraction a la Gregg Williams or Rex Ryan.
