A 35 yarder isn't a gimme FG like the XP is now. Now windy/wet conditions potentially could be a factor in deciding to kick or go for two. What if your kicker gets injured in game? Sure a punter can knock it in from 19 yds but how about from 35?

*Update* Only 11 of 34 kickers who attempted a FG this past season were perfect from less than 39 yards. Not a sure thing every time.
