Regardless, this is the quandary ES is stuck with. Anytime something like this happens, people are going to assume it's because of their ties with the team.

either you're serving your base (fans) by doing your job, or you're hanging it up to become just another part of the skins media machine, that's that.
I think its a huge disservice to talk out of one side of their mouth about the "real story" and "the true fan perspective" and then deliver the same rehashed, canned PR-crap.
If there's a quandry then they shouldn't even be attempting this in the first place.
