I never in my wildest dreams would have guessed that on draft day Rob Jackson would be the only one that would last this long. I was convinced when they drafted him that he was a virtual lock to get cut before the season. No real distinguishable physical upside (unlike sexier late round picks like Markus White, Tom Compton, Niles Paul, Terrance Austin, Marko Mitchell, and Chris Thompson) and lackluster production in college (
6 sacks in two years). Then of course when he made the team along with the other 9 rookies from that class I figured it was just Vincenzo trying to save face.
Even crazier then the fact that Rob Jackson is the only remaining Skin from that draft is the fact that as of right now only Jackson and Rhinehart are the only players currently on a roster. I guess Fred Davis will get back in the league after his suspension runs its course either naturally or through appeals, provided of course he doesn't employ the Charles Rogers offseason training program, but have to say good for Rob Jackson for making this long.
