It's a sad sort of give and take. The Antitrust exemption makes it practical to help assure the best players are all in the same league, with the same rules, etc. However a decent amount of the decisions the NFL makes come across as quite tonedeaf. Goodell's response, well we run a bunch of games nationally. Yes, Roger but if I want to watch the Skins out of market I either have to go to a bar or pony up for Direct TV to watch it in a way the NFL would approve.
When they do things like that then go hard after "pirated broadcast" it really ticks me off, as theres a good reason people are seeking out the pirated streams in the first place. And ironically enough its not because people aren't willing to pay.
