Was there a poll on this?
If there was, put me in the minority. Jay Gruden outright stated that he thinks that Long will compete will a starting job. Coach Gruden said that Moses has a few more things to work on and it may take him a little longer to be ready to start than it will take Long.
Long has the advantage of having played his college ball in a similar system to the one Gruden employs. So, he (Long) says that he is picking it up quickly. According to Gruden, Long definitely has the physical tools.
Moses has more to learn about the system than Long does. Also, he needs to work on some techniques, For example, he plays a little high. So, it might take him a little longer to become a starter.
Now, this is strictly my own ignorant thoughts on Moses. You can say what you want about his flaws, but all he does is stonewall pass rushers. He is what you want physically, he's a smart guy who wants to succeed, and he plays hard. I think he definitely has a chance to surprise his coaches and start Game 1.
