Years ago I put all the Taylor stuff in a box and put it away in the back of my mind. Taylor was/is my favorite player (us younger redskins fans don't have a lot to choose from) and his death hurt - way more than it should have.

Way more than it should have...

That's how I deal with things, I put them in a box and put them in the back of my mind to try to forget and move on. In this case I've gone so far as to ignore threads on various Redskins forums related to Taylor. I have two of his jersies, always thought I'd wear them to the games around his death; it's too hard, so they've been boxed up and put away, literally.

So part of me is excited to see this. Part of me is sad, almost angry, that I have to pull that box out, open it, and go through all the contents again.

For me it's just a wound that will. not. heal.
