you can probably go snag one at best buy before the game today if you want, but you'll probably pay more to get it in the store.
it says it supports all generations of the iPad and it transmits up to 1080P. i have no idea how an ipad works in terms of putting the picture on the TV (i use laptops, they treat the TV like a second monitor and I just drag things onto it) but hey, for 12$ it's worth trying to figure out
