We're taking shots downfield way more than last year. With our d and portis there's no need to open it up like "the greatest show on turf". I do think a little more agression on first down is needed and I wish they would simply move the pocket on every play since that seems to work pretty well but I can't complain about the number of shots downfield. They have had like 8 in the first two games. I think we had 8 last year. Our intermediate routes need a little fine tuning maybe in design and/or execution. Guys should be able to get open based on the design but they don't seem to be getting open consistently so is it the execution of the desion or the design? Or are the QBs simply missing them? Brunell had some hideous throws during the pokes game. A couple real head scratchers. How many times did I say to myself "Where the hell was that thrown to?"
