How well can KC be playing if the team is losing? That's like an NFL oxymoron.
Anyhow, winning trumps all else. Even if KC is playing well and the team is losing, then he's still in imminent danger of being replaced by Robert when he returns. The obvious truth is that we can lose without KC and the applicable theory is that we might be able to win some games with Robert and his skill set.
If the Skins were to keep a relatively healthy RGIII on the bench when they are losing, Robert would go ballistic. There is no way that Gruden's relationship with Robert wouldn't be damaged by doing that.
