Naw man. You really worked for Bud? Were you a truck driver or something? You sure were not the brewmaster.
I have made and tasted many a homebrewed and commercial beer which was not filtered or otherwise treated (sometimes still had active yeast), and they were fine long after the brewing. I had one yeast-in porter seven years after brewing and it still was awesome.
A familiar example: Trappist ale from Belgium. It is untreated, unfiltered, yeast-in, and left its homeland in Belgium who knows how long ago. But boy is it yummy.
