I don't think running a screen can just be ruled out. MAny teams use the screen to counter over pursuit including 8 men in the box. Please look at any New Englang vicyory last year they use short screens constantly when they feel teams are cheating with upfield pressure. I know comparing us to them is not realistic but I don't think we as a team should be setting limitations. Instead as I see it our gameplan needs to be busted wide open.
I believe we have the talent at every position to do whatever we want, we just haven't given them the right plan yet.
