If it were me, I would start Griffin as soon as possible. The only way to know if he's a "bust" really, is to put him out there
From what I'd heard it's not that he doesn't grasp the offense. It's that he's slow-odd to say when applying to RG3-but his timing is just off with the rest of the offense. He's just not in sync.
Mentioned this over the summer, but my feeling is he's a sensitive kid who's ego and feelings got badly bruised when he felt mistreated by his favorite coach growing up.
He needs a confidence boosting game, and I think he'll get his groove back. What better slump buster game than Tampa after the bye week?
