Griff definitely is unsure of himself, holding the ball way too long.
I'm thinking if he feared the contact though, he'd be letting the ball fly much earlier, not holding it longer....he'd also bail the pocket much faster, not stand there like a statue.

Good point. I dont think its anything other than he simply doesnt transfer what he learns into game situations. He certainly isnt the first and certainly wont be the last.
Its just amplified with us because we were in search of a franchise qb forever, and he was a high pick that we gave up a kings ransom for. If Brady hadnt worked out for the Pats because he couldnt "get it" nobody would have cared. Same can be said for countless others. Even Heath Shuler wasnt as big of a story because we werent so far removed from success.
The Skins drafting RG-3 was the epitome of the "all in for the savior of a down and out franchise".
