Griffin threw the ball from his 34 and it hit Djax at the 49er 9 yard line. The ball traveled 57 yards in the air. Jackson was looking the ball in and seemed to adjust significantly while running. He slowed down.
Griffin forced it into two deep coverage and the safety was directly in front of Jackson and actually bumped Jackson a split second before the ball got there while running at full speed and adjusting to the ball.
Jackson did get his hands on it.
In my humble opinion, I don't count that a drop under those circumstances. I also dont count that play as basic at all. I can see however how you would disagree while defending Griffin.
I believe that Jackson's play making ability has spoiled us as fans. We expect him to make exceptional plays every play. He is an exceptional player.

Well, you are half right. He can throw that ball, but he threw it to the wrong spot. If he's going to throw again a single high. He needs to lead D Jax toward the sideline outside the numbers. Instead, he threw it to the inside of the numbers. Making it easy for the safety to play both routes.
