Stats are for media geeks and fantasy footballer's. Drew Bledoe has a ton of great stats because he has played for a long time, but he has never won a Superbowl. Stat talk is a part of football. You can't get around it, no matter who the player is.

Do you get tired of hearing the stat about Timmy Smith, a marginal player in the grand scheme of things, other than one game of course. Yet he still holds the record for most yards gained rushing in the Super Bowl.

I don't know about you, but that's a stat I could hear over and over.
