This isn't even a rule. This is an argument over who gets credit for the yardage when a screen pass goes for a TD. Who cares? The bottom line is a TD is a TD, no matter who gets the credit.

Rules have a bearing on the outcome of the game. This argument just has bearing on who gets the stats. Big deal. If you're going to argue rules, argue about when a catch is a catch, or how much contact is illegal contact, or whether the ground can cause a fumble or not. But this isn't even worth discussing.
