Shanahan didn't have a formal interview, and it's unclear what the discussion was about, but we assume it's in regards to the team's head-coaching vacancy. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported on Tuesday that Mike's son, Browns OC Kyle Shanahan, is also on the 49ers' list. Not going to happen. Their offensive line across the board is too big and strong and effective to run his offense.
He will have to rebuild/dismantle their line before he starts.
