Particularly if the relationship between Smith and Wade Phillips (San Diego connection) results in Wade coming here. I am so tired in seeing Bruce hiring people he is familiar with. If you're conducting a real job search you open it up to the best candidates. Phillips is easily the most accomplished.

If they hire him instead of a familiar face it will show me they are actually letting AJ make some calls. Which would be a step in the right direction.
