For me, the big thing is the potential change in structure. Have a football guy pick the players. Odd concept...

It will take time, no doubt, but there are ways to monitor progress beyond wins and losses. We could see that the team was not improving this year--that's what made it so awful. Pick some good folk, get a good locker room and culture and move ahead. Look for players who do not quit even in losses, improve in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and evaluate RGIII over the season. I'd like to see them trade back in the draft if the can, to maximize the number of picks.

I do hope McC cleans house after the draft and FA--time to clear out the figgin dead wood there. He mentioned that he liked that some of the scouts are young, so he can mold them. That's fine. But the old guard must go.

My lingering fear: Danny will meddle, or McC will have personal troubles and have to step down. Will Danny stick with the structure, even if McC isn't the answer? We can only hope...
